On the Case - Legs on the wall

 Stumbled upon this earlier today.

MARK MURPHY & LEGS ON THE WALL - ON THE CASE from Mark Murphy on Vimeo.

This was back in 2006 for the commonwealth games in Melbourne but I didn't even know a video of the full show existed. It's been long enough since I last looked at it that I'm mostly seeing the things that are good about it and not so focused on the stuff that could have been better.

For the time poor amongst you... here's the 2.5 minute version

Throwback - Dust Echoes

Just quickly, I was talking about the Dust Echoes project to some one the other and couldn't find any links online anywhere... So I've uploaded them myself.

Dust Echoes was a great project back in 2006, bringing together a bunch of independent Australian animators  to recreate some of the indigenous stories from the Beswick community. There were a bunch of great films that resulted from the project but these were the three I had a hand in.

Balance Pt 4 : on the road

With the van absolutely chocked full to the brim we Jacob and myself headed into the wilds of Regional Victoria.

Here's a time-lapse of the install (a very full 90 min condensed here into 90 seconds).

Balance Bump in from dave jones on Vimeo. Venues varied dramatically across the state, from Performing Art Centers and town halls through to  classrooms, gymnasiums and tin sheds.

And of course the running repairs. Being packed in and out of a slightly too small van on a daily basis is not great for small puppets and flakey wiring apparently.
